Cardboard Recycling

Cardboard boxes cannot be scheduled for bulky item collection.  Cardboard will be collected as a part of the CURB IT! residential recycling program.  To ensure collection, please:

  • Place at curbside on regular garbage and recycling collection day.
  • Empty cardboard and cut, not fold, into 3X3 pieces, and stack neatly at curbside beside your recycling bin.
  • Do not place contaminated cardboard at curbside for collection.  Cardboard is considered contaminated when food residue or non-recyclable materials such as Styrofoam are attached or enclosed in it.  Please bag Styrofoam and place it in the rollout cart, and then prepare cardboard to be collected with your recycling.  Pizza boxes are not recyclable; please place pizza boxes in the rollout cart.
