Permits are required for any building construction, placement, alterations or repairs involving new construction or the change in the use of a particular property, i.e.:

• Decks, carports, garages or accessory structures of any size

• Room additions, completing unfinished attic spaces

• Installing and replacing backflow preventers

• Mobile homes
