Zoning Maps - City of Charlotte's Jurisdiction

Zoning Map, What is it? A Zoning Map is a map that shows Zoning Designations for the City of Charlotte and its Sphere of Influence. The Zoning Maps are rectangular maps based on the NC State Plan Coordinate System. The numbering system starts in the northern part of Mecklenburg County and ends up in the southern part of the County. There are 145 Zoning Maps. (not all Zoning Map Numbers are within the City of Charlotte's Zoning jurisdiction) Zoning Maps are updated after the Charlotte City Council approves a Rezoning Petition.

Zoning Maps - How to View:
Click on the Zoning Map Index Grid (below) and then click on the Red NUMBER (Zoning Map Number) in the lower right corner of the Grid cell you wish to view. Use the magnifying glass feature in Adobe to assist you with zooming in and out.
(All Grids shown Do Not have hyperlinks, those grids without hyperlinks are maps within the one of the other towns in Mecklenburg County)
3. To Print only a "portion" of a map, Use the Acrobat Zoom command and zoom to your specified area. Then in the Acrobat Print window select "Current View".
