Woodlawn Transit Station Area Plan

The Planning Department held two public meetings to present the Plan for the Woodlawn transit station area on March 13 and April 3, 2008.  The Planning Committee received public comments at their May 20 meeting, and unanimously recommended adoption at their June 17 meeting.  City Council’s Transportation Committee is scheduled to review the Plan on July 14.

The station area plan focuses primarily on land use and transportation and will update the adopted plan for this area, the Central District Plan (1993), South District Plan (1993) and Southwest District Plan (1991).

As a property owner, please be aware that the area plan could recommend a change in the future use of property within the study area.  It is therefore important that you participate in the planning process.  You can learn more about station area plans on our website.
