Charlotte, NC— The NC Cooperative Extension Service invites interested citizens to a presentation on lawn, tree and shrub care as part of the “Successful Garden Fall Lawn and Garden Series.” This seminar on lawn maintenance, soil testing, weed control, tree and shrub selection and planting is FREE for anyone who wishes to attend from 6:30-8:30pm at either of the following dates and locations:

• October 8 at  William R. Davie Community Center, 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road
   
• October 15 at the NC Cooperative Extension Office, 1418 Armory Drive

In Mecklenburg County, the NC Extension Service operates as part of Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department, which will conduct further presentations in this series in the future.
