Charlotte, NC –  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will host a “Military Expo” on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, 4pm – 6pm, at West Charlotte Recreation Center, 2401 Kendall  Drive. 

This event welcomes youth and other interested citizens to meet and talk with representatives from U.S. Armed Forces.  Representatives of each service branch will be present--Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard--to take questions from the public and distribute literature. The West Charlotte High School JROTC/ROTC will also perform.
