“NO EXCUSES CHALLENGE” OFFERS TO TRANSFORM YOUR BODY IN A 12 WEEK PROGRAM OF CONDITIONING AND NUTRITION!

May 12, 2009

Charlotte, NC –  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department and No Excuses Fitness Training offer a program to change the shape of Charlotte. Their “No Excuses Best Body Challenge” could help hundreds of participants transform their bodies in 12 weeks!

This program is open to anyone, age 18 and older. The program includes exercise, nutrition, and conditioning.  It begins Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 8am at First Ward Recreation Center, 610 East 7th Street, and runs Saturdays for 12 weeks.

No Excuses Best Body Challenge is part of the fitness and weight loss phenomenon started by the hit TV show, The Biggest Loser.  “That show focused the nation’s attention on benefits of participating in a contest, guided by certified fitness instructors, to create the motivation and accountability necessary for success,” said Monica.  “It’s difficult to lose weight on your own. Anyone who’s tried and struggled knows that and unfortunately, that’s the majority.”

There is no cost to participate. Monica Johnson, owner of No Excuses Fitness Training, asks that each participant make a one-time $10 donation to the non-profit program, Girls on the Run, which encourages preteen girls to develop self respect and healthy lifestyles through running.

Further details of the challenge and online registration are available at www.noexcuseschallenge.com which includes a guide with instructions, questions and answers, rules and regulations, prize list and even a complete 12-week exercise and nutrition program.

Many businesses sponsor the challenge by helping to spread the word and providing prizes to be awarded to the No Excuses Best Body Grand Champion and two runners up. For more information contact Monica Johnson at 704 258-8203 or monica@noexcusesfitnesstraining.com
