Charlotte, NC-- NC Cooperative Extension Service offers FREE "Home Lawn & Landscape Workshops” in June. These workshops are just the thing for homeowners who want beautiful yards.
The workshops include how to plant or renovate a fall lawn, administer weed and disease control in a Piedmont lawn, select and install the “right plant for the right place,” and how to understand soil fertility.
Are you having trouble getting your lawn and landscape to the quality you desire? Always fighting weeds in your lawn and mulched areas? Then you are invited to attend one of the Home Lawn & Landscape Workshops. These workshops are:
- June 10, 2009, 6:30pm-8:30pm at Jetton Park’s Waterfront Hall, 1900 Jetton Road, Cornelius
- June 17, 2009, 6:30pm-8:30pm at William R. Davie Park’s Conference Center, 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road, Charlotte
