Charlotte, NC –  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation hosts a fall sports kick-off for youth, on the lawn of Ray's Splash Planet, 215 North Sycamore Street, 12noon-3pm. Boys and girls, ages 4-12, may register for flag football or soccer for any recreation center program or online at eParks.

This event also features prizes, food, music and games. Cost to register to play is $55. The first 100 kids to register at this event receive a $5 discount. Age groups for flag football and soccer are 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12.
