Charlotte, NC-- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invites youngsters ages 7-11 to participate in Youth Instructional Football Clinics, 9am-1pm during June and July.
 
These clinics focus on learning and improving fundamental skills and techniques. The clinics are non-contact and cover passing and receiving techniques, which will be reinforced through run-and-shoot touch games. Instruction is by Park and Recreation staff and volunteer youth coaches.  No uniforms are necessary.  Participants may come in shorts and athletic shoes.
 
The FREE clinics will held Saturdays around Mecklenburg County:

• June 28, North Charlotte Park, 901 Herron Ave.
• July 12, Colonial Park, 219 Providence Rd        
• July 19, Pearl St. Park, 1200 Baxter St.
• July 26, Pearl St. Park, 1200 Baxter St.
