Charlotte, NC—  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invites youngsters with pep and enthusiasm to learn all about cheerleading at two clinics this summer at Oaklawn Recreation Center, 1920 Stroud Park Court.  Dates for cheerleading clinics are:

• July 7-11, 2008, 6pm-8pm (for ages 4-12)
• August18-21, 2008, 6pm-8pm (for ages 13-17)

Participants will learn fundamentals of cheerleading. Those with prior skills will receive instruction to perfect their techniques. A cheerleading demonstration for friends and family will be conducted at the end of each clinic.
