Charlotte, NC— Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County host the "Big Buggy Ball," Monday, June 30, 2- 4pm, rain or shine at Reedy Creek Nature Center, 2900 Rocky River Road. This is a fun, FREE event for children, ages 4-12, and parents.

Youngsters are invited to dress-up as their favorite bug and enter a costume contest.  Kids can make a crafts, play buggy games, find out amazing bug facts, see live insects, and join our naturalist and explore the nature preserve in a great bug hunt!
