Charlotte, NC --   Young people who want to try skiing, this is your chance!  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation offers a ski trip on Saturday, February 23, 2008 for youth and teens, ages 11-16. Enjoy a day of thrill and adventure at Beech Mountain Ski Resort in the NC mountains. Trip includes a ski lesson, before you ski on your own. Cost is $60 per person.  Fee includes ski lift ticket, ski rentals, and lunch. Dress warmly and get ready to cruise the slopes! 

Trip departs at 7am from Marion Diehl Recreation Center, 2219 Tyvola Rd, and returns at 6pm. Pre-registration required.
