Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation's Volunteer program. This program enables volunteers like you to make a significant impact on the quality of life in our community.  The purpose of the program is to develop and use your unique skills, resources, and experiences.  Working as partners we can improve our parks and greenways and expand the recreation horizons of the youths, adults and persons with specialized needs within our community.

You can be a valuable and essential partner to your Park and Recreation Department. Your contributions of time and energy make it possible for citizens of all ages to lead a fuller more enjoyable life.
