Ray's 2009 Black History Quiz Bowl

Your knowledge of Black History will be tested in our 4th Annual Ray's 2009 Black History Quiz Bowl. Schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg will be asked to choose five students (two of which will be alternates) to form a team that will represent their school in this Quiz Bowl.

Schedule: The Quiz Bowl Elimination Tournament will be held on February 16-20, 2009 at the Mahlon Adams Pavilion in Freedom Park and Super Saturday finals will be on Feb. 21st at the Imagion.
Prizes: The top three (3) schools will participate in the finals. Prizes and awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. A traveling trophy will also be awarded to the 1st place school.
To Enter: Please fill the team Entry Form and return to Jackie Hemingway, Freedom Park Indoor Pavilion 2435 Cumberland Avenue. Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203 or Fax to 704-432-4240. The deadline for school entry is January 16, 2009.
