Mission
Partners for Parks is a nonprofit, nonpartisan foundation that seeks to promote and enhance parks, recreation and open space in neighborhoods throughout Mecklenburg County and the surrounding area. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for citizens within the area.  Funds raised by the Partners for Parks Foundation support programs and projects throughout the Park and Recreation system.

Opportunities
Partners for Parks provides opportunities for making contributions of time, materials and funding to keep our parks, greenways and recreational facilities beautiful and enjoyable for our community.
Volunteer opportunities include staffing recreational programs, seasonal cleanups, mentoring area youths and helping out at special events. Monetary donations help to sponsor athletic programs, buy equipment for our playgrounds and purchase landscaping supplies.

Benefits
Supporters will be recognized for their contributions through formal letters of commendation, public signage, acknowledgement in print and tax deductions.
