KITCHEN MAGIC COOKING CLASSES

Kitchen Magic Plus -for youth and teens ages 13 and up with disabilities.   Come and spend Saturday mornings having fun in the kitchen!  We'll make special autumn treats, favorite snacks and breakfast foods, yummy salads and sandwiches, and even Halloween goodies!  Along with learning basic cooking skills, we'll talk about nutrition, food handling safety and making healthy food choices.  Fees for this 6-week course include all materials and food.  Dates / Times:  September 22nd-October 27th. Short Order Cooks-for children with disabilities and families.  Bring your family for a day of baking and crafting!  We prepare for Thanksgiving by making table decorations, filling gift jars to give or keep, and...baking cookies!  Join us for a day of holiday fun - lunch is included.  Families are welcome; and all members must register for the program.  Date / Time:  Saturday, November 17th from 10:00am-1:00pm.  Location:  Marion Diehl Recreation Center. GARDENING PROGRAMS

Gifted Gardeners - for teens to seniors, with a disability or arthritis.  Come join the gardening club that's just for you!  Garden beds and tables at the Marion Diehl Recreation Center are raised for easy access, and adaptive gardening tools are available.  Our flowers, vegetables and herbs nee lots of attention, the group will meet twice a week.  All equipment and supplies are provided.  Club meetings begin Saturday, September 15th. Date / Time:  Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm & Saturdays, 2:00pm-4:00pm.  September 15th - November 3rd.  Location:  Marion Diehl Recreation Center.
