Park Bench Dedication Program

A park bench is another option for a Commemorative Gift. Bench donations may be made in two styles, the Standard Park bench, or our Solid Steel Commemorative bench. These benches are both 6 feet long, and are installed on a concrete pad. The Commemorative brick is then installed in that concrete pad.

Process for purchasing park bench:

All calls from potential donors should be referred to the Division Manager of Park Services . He can assist you with your donation.

The cost of the standard bench is $400 installed with a brick, and the solid steel bench is $1,525 installed. Checks must be made out to the non-profit "Partners for Parks" agency. We cannot accept checks made out to the County or the Park & Recreation Department.

Dedication Brick ordering: The Dedication Brick allows you to commemorate the individual you wish to honor. The exact language that the donor wants on the brick should be provided in writing by the donor. Bricks may state "In Honor of……" or "In Memory of…..", with dates, or similar wording. More elaborate statements cannot be made. A maximum of 3 names can be put on one brick.

The bench location is generally flexible, but should reflect park needs.
