| PROJECT HISTORY: |
Site of the former "Shuffletown Dragway" , this park was purchased in the early 2000's. A series of community workshops were conducted in 2003 and 2004 and a site master plan was approved by the Northwest Park District Advisory Council, the Park and Recreation Commission, and the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. Funds were approved in the 2004 Park Bonds. |

Phase 1 to include 2 baseball fields with soccer/football field overlays in the outfield, a restroom building; parking and roads. |
