Phase I Site Plan

Scope:

• Phase I of design and construction will include:  3 soccer fields, 1 practice field, 1 playground and 1 restroom/picnic shelter building.

 Status:

• Construction began April 10, 2006 and is projected to be completed within 275 calendar days.
• Sprigging and irrigation will take place between February 2007 and July 2007.
• Soccer Fields will potentially be ready for play in Fall 2007.  

Timeline:

• 1999 General Obligation Bonds
• 1/19/1999:  1^st Community Workshop to receive community input on the Master Plan.
• 2/16/1999:  2^nd Community Workshop to present conceptual plan.
• Summer 2000:  Master Plan approved by PRC and BOCC.
• 11/28/2000:  Community Workshop to discuss Phase I of development.
• 7/2001:  Notice to proceed with Design
• 1/2002:  50% Design Completed
• 9/2004:  75% Design Competed
• 7/2005:  100% Design Completed
• 9/2005:  Pre-bid Meeting
• 9/2005:  Bid Opening
• 10/2005:  All bids rejected due to invalid bid bond.
• 1/2006:  Bid Opening re-advertised.
• 1/31/2006:  Pre-bid meeting.
• 2/21/2006:  Bid Opening
• 3/21/2006:  BOCC approval of Contract
• 4/5/2006:  Pre-construction meeting.
