Four Mile Creek Greenway, Matthews

Length:  Approximately 2.3 miles

Location:  E. John St. to S. Trade St., Squirrel Lake Park to Matthews Community Center


Description:  The proposed greenway will link downtown Matthews with Squirrel Lake Park and connect neighborhoods from E. John Street to S. Trade Street. The greenway will be an asphalt trail with boardwalk.
This will be the first greenway in the Town of Matthews

What's Next:

Final engineering and design is currently underway. Once design is completed and permits are approved, construction of the greenway will begin. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2008.
