Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to event. The cost will be refunded minus a 10 % administrative cost. No refunds will be given if cancellation is less than 30 days. A $25 fee is charged for all returned checks.

* In the case of inclement weather, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation will reschedule the event for another time or facility (of equal or lesser value). Refunds will not be given in the event of inclement weather.

March-October: Reserving a shelter at McDowell, Copperhead Island, or Jetton Park does NOT entitle vehicles to enter on SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS without paying an entrance fee of $3 for in county vehicles and $5 for out of county vehicles. 

Special Use Permits for Bounce Houses and Alcohol are available for an additional fee.  Certain restrictions apply. Beer/Wine Permits are $50. Amusement Permits are $20 for 1/2 day and $40 for a full day
