WHO
We offer group rates to non-profit organizations that hold a 501 3c certificate (example: Churches, Schools, etc.), regardless of the size of the group.

WHEN
We are currently scheduling groups at a discounted rate to non-profit organizations for visits before June 10th 2008.  For Summer Group visits we will begin taking requests Friday, March 3, 2008 at 9am.  We will not accept or schedule any summer group visits prior to that date.  Summer Group Packets will be available March 3rd and we can mail or fax the packet to you.  Please call 704-432-4729 to be added to our summer group mailing list.

$4/ Child    Mecklenburg County Organizations
$6/ Child    NON-Mecklenburg County Organizations

SCHEDULING

• To qualify for our group rates, prior scheduling is required.  Call the Help Desk to have a request mailed or faxed to you (704-432-4RAY).
• Walk-in groups are welcome to come as members of the general public and pay the public rate for a day pass.  For large walk-in groups, we require 1 adult in the water for every 10 children in the water.
• Group Reservations are limited to 25% of maximum pool capacity, (100 Swimmers or less)
• Reservations will not be confirmed prior to receiving completed group reservation form.
• Completion of this form does not guarantee availability. You will receive a phone or fax confirmation within one week. At that time you can negotiate alternative times if your initial request is not available.

REQUESTS FOR GROUP DISCOUNT

• Signature must be on Request Form that demonstrates that you have read, understood and agreed to the Group Swim Policies.
• Requests are not confirmed until after the Group Recreation Coordinator contacts and confirms date(s) & time(s). Reservations are based on availability. First come first serve is our policy.
• To Qualify for a group discount:
       1) Must be a non-profit organization (Example: Churches, Schools, etc.)
       2) Must read, understand, agree and sign off to our group policies, including Chaperone requirements.
       3) Must limit visit to a 2 hour block. (1˝ hour block during the summer months.)
       4) The application form must be entirely completed, signed & submitted and then APPROVED.

Groups are scheduled in pre-determined blocks:

*2hr blocks for school months or 1˝hr blocks summer months.

PAYMENT 
We accept Check, Money Orders, Cash and now accept credit/debit cards as well (Visa/Mastercard w/ ID).  Groups pay upon entering.

WATER SAFETY/ WHALES TALES
We offer an American Red Cross Water Safety Program to our groups. This is a 25 minute presentation with speaker and video. We will review Water Safety Rules and introduce Lifejackets & Lifeguard Rescue Tubes. The program is designed for any age group and can be scheduled 30 minutes prior to your 2-hour swim time (based on availability). The following fees will cover the Program & Swim Time.
