Youth Programs (6-12 years)
Class ratio: 1 instructor to 7 students
Youth Program Picture

Otter - beginner
Students will learn front/back glide and total submersion.  Students will begin to work on front and back combined arm and leg movement.  To move into Walrus, students must be able to float independently.

Walrus - intermediate
Students will learn floating and recovery and combined arm and leg action.  To move into Manatee, students must be able to swim 10 yards unassisted.

Manatee - advanced
Students will learn overarm recovery, rotary breathing on front, flutter kick, and elementary backstroke.  To move into Marlin, students must be able to swim independently for 25 yards.

Marlin - expert
Students will improve current strokes and be introduced to breaststroke, butterfly and flip turns.
