Standard Service Delivery
- Inspectors enforce the City's Housing Code.
- All owners are given 60 days to repair homes.
- The Housing Code, pursuant to State statutes, permits owner occupants up to one year to repair a home, while landlords are given up to six months to repair a home.
- Property owners may be fined or taken to Environmental Court for non-compliance.
- City Council can order a house demolished if repair costs are 65 percent greater than the tax value.
