Model Neighborhood Standards

More than 250 residents representing more than 100 Charlotte neighborhood organizations participated in two citywide neighborhood forums to develop a vision for model neighborhoods. With their input, Model Neighborhood Standards were drafted based on the collective premise that all neighborhoods should be safe, clean and nuisance free, appropriately developed, transportation friendly, organized and include a variety of affordable housing. These standards help Charlotte residents partner with the City of Charlotte in order to improve or sustain positive changes in the communities where they live, work and play.
