• Adopt-A-City Street
  Businesses and individuals can make a difference in their community by volunteering for the Adopt-A-City-Street program and committing to clean it at least four times a year.  To sign up, download the Adopt a City Street Application Packet and follow the submission instructions in the cover letter.  If you have adopted a city street and would like to report a recent cleanup, complete the Clean-Up-Report.  For additional questions about the Adopt-A-City Street program, please email us KCB@ci.charlotte.nc.us or call 704-336-6399. 
  
• Litter Sting
  KCB members and the media ride along with Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers looking litterbugs during the Litter Sting. Violators may find themselves paying littering fines and appearing in court.  Want to help?  Litter Bugs can be reported by calling 704-336-4465.  
  
• Neighborhood Recognition Program
  The Committee, through established guidelines, selects a neighborhood and recognizes its cleanup efforts with a certificate and presentation at a City Council meeting.

Great American Cleanup
KCB's Great American Cleanup is the nation's largest community improvement program, built on a foundation of individual responsibility and civic pride.  It begins March 1 and runs through May 31 and includes many activities.  KCB has participated in several different programs, including Mow Across America, Earth Day, Hands-on-Charlotte, and community cleanups and plantings.
