1. Extended hours are Monday through Friday, 5 pm – 8 pm.
2. The extended hours will begin April 1, 2009 and end on September 30, 2009, which roughly corresponds with daylight savings time.
3. Activities impacted include commercial vehicle parking violations, parking on the lawn, signage issues, and other zoning enforcement related activities. It does not include housing inspections and the serving of warrants.
4. The extended hours' activities will be concentrated in the areas of greatest need. However, Staff will continue special operations for selected activities occurring after 8 pm. and on weekends. These activities include enforcement efforts directed toward mobile food vendor operations, bar/night club issues, ABC permitting and sign issues.
5. Neighborhood & Economic Development will monitor the extended hours program to determine what impact it will have on overall inspection and compliance efforts.
6. Citizens may call 311 to report any code violation.
