Cook's Fire and Rescue

Volunteer Organization Celebrates 50 Years of Service

Volunteers from Cook's responded to 13 fire alarms during 1953, their first year of service. Today Cooks provides fire and EMS services to the community. The Departments efforts are supported by 35 firefighters, 13 EMT's and an extensive dive team.

For more information about volunteer opportunities with Cook's, contact David Cobb, Rescue Chief, or Steve Sanders, Fire Chief, at 704-392-1970.

In June, Cook's Fire and Rescue marked its 50th anniversary with a wonderful celebration. More than 350 people visited community booths, enjoyed great food and fun for the whole family.
