Join us Sunday, March 11, at 4 p.m. for the Charlotte Checkers Salute to Heroes at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The event will honor the men and women of Medic, as well as police officers and firefighters. A portion of proceeds from tickets sales will go to benefit specific charities of each agency's choosing.  There will be a special opening ceremony, information booths, and a Heroes Game following the Checkers game featuring the hockey teams of Medic and Charlotte Fire Department vs. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and The Mecklenburg County Sherriff's Department. It is sure to be an explosive and thrilling game.  In addition, there will be an auction for the jerseys and a special raffle.
