Internship Opportunities

The Charlotte International Cabinet offers several internships each academic semester and in the summer. These internships are non-salaried positions, but offer an opportunity to garner a wealth of knowledge pertaining to international relations, business and governance. CIC interns also have the chance to build professional relationships with dynamic members of Charlotte's international community.

The mission of the Charlotte International Cabinet is to promote Charlotte as an international city and to serve as a resource to foster international relationships.

The Charlotte International Cabinet is comprised of business and community leaders appointed by the Mayor, City Manager or City Council to 3-year terms of service on the Cabinet. The Cabinet Office is staffed by one full time employee.  We rely on interns from local colleges and universities to assist in a variety of functions.
