Get involved with the Mayor's International Cabinet
Become a member of the Mayor's International Cabinet  - Mayor's International Cabinet members are appointed to serve three-year terms by the mayor, city council or city manager. Individuals are appointed under the following categories: Business, Education, Ethnic, Government, Non-Profit and an "Open" category.  A City Boards and Commissions application form must be completed and filed with the City Clerk's Office to be considered for appointment.

Attend a meeting of the Charlotte International Cabinet - On the first Thursday of every other month the Cabinet meets at 7:30 am in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, room 267. The first meeting of the year is in Februray. Bi-monthly meetings are open to anyone, and the public is encouraged to attend.
