For the Construction of Freedom Center Phase 2

Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, on December, 4th, 2007, in the office of Real Estate Services Department, 1435 West Morehead, Suite 120, Charlotte, NC for the construction of the Freedom Center at which time and place Bids will be opened and read aloud. Single-prime, lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. The project is located at 3205 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.

The Contractors can purchase the Bid Documents from Sharpe Images Charlotte, NC, (704)-525-7087 after November 10, 2007. The cost of the Bid Documents is Non-refundable. Plans and Specifications shall be on file at Charlotte AGC, the McGraw-Hill Construction Room, Metrolina Minority Contractors Association, and the Mecklenburg County M/W/SBE Program office.

Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds shall be required for this project.

The laws of North Carolina and applicable regulations of various Licensing Boards and M/W/SBE provisions will be observed in receiving bids and awarding contracts.

A pre-bid meeting shall be held on November 20, 2007 at 2:00, at Freedom Mall, Suite 23, 3205 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.

Mecklenburg County reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, and to waive irregularities or informalities.

Single-prime, lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. The project is located at 5225 Spector Drive, Charlotte, NC.

The Contractors can purchase the Bid Documents from Sharpe Images Charlotte, NC, (704)-525-7087. The cost of the Bid Documents is Non-refundable.
