The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office has recently contracted with AT&T for their new inmate phone system.  This system will monitor and record inmate phone calls.  The Sheriff's Office is asking Attorneys to file a form listing attorney phone numbers that will be receiving phone calls from inmates.  These numbers will be automatically excluded by the phone computer from monitoring or recording.  The form is available on the Mecklenburg Bar Association and Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office web sites.
