K-9 Taz, a German Shepherd from Holland, is a patrol dog cross-trained in criminal apprenhension and narcotics search.  When requested by other law enforcement agencies, he is used for narcotics searches on vehicles and other facilities including Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.   Taz is certified with the IPWDA.  He is handled by Deputy Cobile.
