K-9 Britta is a bomb dog with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office and is handled by Deputy Sherwin.  She comes to us from Southern Police Canine.  Britta is trained to detect and locate the odors of explosives and weapons and also to track.  There are many high profile jobs that Britta is assigned to such as the Carolina Panthers' home games and Presidential details.  Britta is certified with the North Carolina Police Dog Association, the North American Police Work Dog Association, and the International Police Work Dog Association.
