TARGETED POPULATION:

• Male and female 16 years of age and older
• Charged with non-violent misdemeanors and  some felonies
• With stable community ties as determined through interview / verification process and residing in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln and Union counties of North Carolina.

CONDITIONS OF / INCENTIVES FOR PARTICIPATION:                    

• Presumption of Innocence
• Supervised Release
• No financial burden
• Voluntary

 LENGTH OF PROGRAM:

• Clients average over 140 days of supervision

SOURCE OF CLIENTS:

• The program is voluntary, as all individuals arrested in Mecklenburg County are screened as possible clients
