Inmates in Mecklenburg County Jails are allowed one thirty-minute visit per week. Two adults or one adult and two children may visit at any one time. Adults must be 16 years of age or older and must provide proper identification such as: valid driver's license, passport, DMV Special ID or Military ID.

Clergy Visitation Hours
Monday through Friday
8:00-11:00 AM Morning Visitation
1:00-4:00 PM Afternoon Visitation
8:00-10:00 PM Evening Visitation
All clergy must see the MCSO Chaplain and present a copy of both their ordination papers and driver's license. A photo ID will be issued to allow for future visitation privileges. All visitations will be through glass only.
