Risk Assessment:

Conducts personal interviews with arrestee and verifies offender information for the courts systems to be used during bond reviews. Staff determines eligibility of defendants charged with certain criminal offenses who may be released without posting bond. Defendants must meet certain criteria which indicate they will return for trial on their own accord without sacrificing public safety.

Case Management:

Caseworkers review release agreements, assign levels of supervision and maintain contact with all defendants released by Risk Assessment. This includes case processing, tracking, problem solving, counseling, field visit and termination of release agreement for noncompliance.
