SERVICES PROVIDED BY LUESA NORTH:
Residential Building Permits -
residential permitting to include single family and duplex buildings for all new construction, additions, renovations, and accessory structures.
Residential Plan Review -
review residential plans for projects that meet one or all of the following critieria:
- 2,500 sq. ft. or more of heated space
- 2,000 sq. ft. or more on foundation footprint
- Construction cost of $175,000 or more.
- Alternate construction methods.
Land Development Plan Review -
review site development plans for compliance to ordinances, standards and specifications.
Land Development Inspection -
inspect roadway and drainage construction
Residential Technical Answer Center -
provide technical assistance and code information to the general public. (By phone or in person from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - 704-432-2520.)
Housing Code Compliance -
enforce the minimum housing code in Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville. Enforce the MecklenburgCounty abandoned and junk vehicle ordinance.
Zoning permits and inspections -
administer and enforce the zoning regulations adopted by Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville.
Water Quality -
investigate and resolve water quality problems.
Tax Assessment Services -
offered Tuesday - Thursday to walk-in customers.
- Copies of tax bills
- Pick up or drop off forms for listing business personal property, individual personal property, or farm equipment
- Assessment issues concerning tax bills for individual personal property or registered motor vehicles
- Pick up or drop off homestead exemption forms
- Provide adjustments to tax bills with proper documentation
- Process change-of-address forms
- No payments can be accepted at LUESA North.
- Real property services will be provided by appointment.
