Mecklenburg County's Land Use & Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) is responsible for erosion control and inspection. Within LUESA, Storm Water Services, Land Development, and Groundwater Services make up Water & Land Resources. Water & Land Resources' mission is to ensure a clean, livable environment through the protection and enhancement of water and land.
