60 Gallon Rain Barrels are $85.00
80 Gallon Rain Barrels are $100.00
Payment in the form of cash or check will be due at time of pick-up. Please make checks payable to M.S.W.C.D (Mecklenburg Soil & Water Conservation District). We offer rain barrels at reduced prices in partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services.
Please note: We no longer offer the 55 gallon rain barrel. However, if you already have 55 gallon rain barrels, and would like more of the same kind, please notify us, and we maybe able to accommodate you.
Rain Barrel Sale Policies:Due to lack of storage space, no alternate pick-ups can be scheduled
- All returns & equipment defects must go through manufacturer, RainBarrelUSA
- Any extra barrels will be sold off at the end of each sale, we cannot release barrels before the end of our advertised pick-up times
- Switching sizes of barrels at the sale is prohibited. Any changes must wait until the end of the sale.

- Works with any size downspout
- Each barrel has spigot and 2 overflow valves
The dark colors of the barrels block the light to reduce algae growth. A locking lid stops wildlife and pets from entering the barrels, including mosquitoes!
The Rain Barrel also has an overflow valve that can be attached to a garden hose to divert the overflow water to any area of your yard that needs it.
A one inch rainfall over a 1000 square foot roof provides over 620 gallons of water. With the overflow valve you can direct this water to your garden or any other area of your yard.
