As of July 1, 2008, the tipping fee for Mecklenburg County waste is:

Mecklenburg County has a contract with the BFI-Charlotte Motor Speedway Landfill until June 30, 2012, for the disposal of solid waste covered under the inter-local agreements the County has with Charlotte, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Matthews and Pineville.
