Swat-A-Litterbug- Lenny is getting swatted!!! Another great month!!

Winning the war on litterbugs!! We had another great month with over 250 'swats' for the month of Sept. Keep up the great work!!

Reporting a litterbug is easy. You can report it by phone or online. All you need to provide is the tag number, date, time, location and a brief description of what type littering occurred (cigarette butt, fast food wrappers, construction material, etc.) We'll take it from there.

The owner of the vehicle is sent a letter from Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful explaining why litter is illegal, creates a safety issue, is extremely unsightly and is very expensive to get rid of. We'll send them a litterbag for their vehicle along with educational materials to motivate them to STOP littering. Who knows, they may become a Swat-A-Litterbug themselves.

To report a litterbug by telephone or to request a supply of Swat-A-Litterbug report cards, call 704-432-1772. To report a litterbug online, click on "Lenny" the litterbug.
