RECYCLE & WIN PROMOTION OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law. Promotion ends 1/31/2010.
1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to residents of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, who are 18 years of age or older with valid identification.
2. HOW IT WORKS: Beginning 2/1/09 through 1/31/2010 ("Promotion Period"), the Recycle Street Team will randomly visit neighborhoods in Mecklenburg County and the city of Charlotte (approximately once per week) and randomly select 10 houses that have adhered an Official "give it back" sticker ("Sticker") on their recycling bin and properly followed recycling guidelines. One current resident (subject to eligibility) of the selected household will win a $50 Harris Teeter gift card. The Recycle Street Team will make fifty-two (52) visits in neighborhoods of Mecklenburg County and the city of Charlotte throughout the Promotion Period and award ten potential prizes per visit. Limit one prize per household. Winning households will be notified by mail about one week after the visit from the Recycle Street Team. The notification will include a toll free number. An eligible resident from the selected household will be required to call the toll free number within ten (10) days to claim prize, or the prize will be forfeited.
3. GENERAL RULES: No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Gift Cards are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash and are subject to all terms and conditions of use as established by issuer. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor, the Promotional Participants and their agencies to use winners' names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law, including in a local news release regarding the Promotion. By accepting prize, winners agree to release and hold Sponsor, the Promotional Participants and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses and liability of any kind arising out of the acceptance/use of prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or the acceptance or use of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor and the Promotional Participants are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize or in the administration of the promotion.
