    Note:  Untreated, unpainted and unstained wood is often referred to as "clean wood".  Separated loads of  "clean wood" are accepted at the Foxhole Landfill for recycling.  A lower tip fee is available for these loads.

17131 Lancaster Highway - Take 485 East to Johnston Rd. Exit; go south on Johnston Rd. (US 521) almost to the SC border. The landfill is the last left before you get to the border.

Fees:  C&D $39 per ton (1 ton minimum)
Clean Wood Waste $16.50 per ton
Clean Concrete/Brick/Block:  $5 per ton

Directions: From downtown, take I-77 to exit 18 (Reames Rd.). Go East on Reames Rd.; pass Hwy 21 (Statesville Rd.). Take a left on Hwy 15 (Old Statesville Rd.). Holbrooks Road is on the right after "The Oaks Hospital".
