Directions:
From 485 East, exit Johnston Rd., go south on Johnston Rd. (US 521) almost to the SC border. The Foxhole's entrance is the last left turn before the border.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, Saturday, 7am - 3pm
Residential, Commercial and Industrial Yard Waste:
Yard waste generated from commercial/industrial and residential properties in Charlotte, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mint Hill, Pineville, and the unincorporated areas of the County may be brought to the County's yard waste facilities.
Acceptable Materials:
- Leaves (unbagged please!)
- Brush (unbagged please!)
- Grass clippings (unbagged please!)
- Limbs less than 5' in length and 6" in diameter
- NO tree stumps!
Yard Waste Fees:
- $16.50 per ton
- Automobiles - $1.00 per load
- Vans, pickup trucks, trailers (less than 10 feet in length) - $7.25 per load
- Compactor trucks - $4.15 per yard ($7.25 minimum)
- All other vehicle types - $3.30 per cu yard ($7.25 minimum charge)
