Organizations Recognized for Waste-Cutting Programs

LITTER PREVENTION:
Mecklenburg County recognized members of the Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful Board of Directors, and members of Homeless Helping Homeless (HHH), a group of currently and formerly homeless individuals. The group decided to challenge stereotypes of homeless individuals and clean up the property of the urban Ministry Center. Their effort expanded to Tryon Street and the surrounding area.
