PURPOSE:

To administer and enforce the various ordinances, standards and specifications involved in the review of construction documents and inspection of the infrastructure required as part of private development; reviews development plans; inspects their construction; ensures their prompt completion, and imposes penalties if they fail to comply with the regulations within a reasonable time frame; and assists the development community and general public, in understanding the process of development, the regulations involved in the process, and by answering their concerns about development, whether existing or proposed.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Provides fee-based plan review services.
• Provides fee-based field inspection services.
• Develops and publishes development standards in accordance with engineering principles and community expectations.
• Investigates complaints associated with development activities and communicates action/proposed action to affected parties.
