Residential Building Permits -
residential permitting includes single family and duplex buildings for all new construction, additions, renovations, and accessory structures.
Residential Technical Answer Center -
provides technical assistance and code information to the general public. (By phone or in person from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - 704-814-0589.)
Housing Code Compliance -
enforce the minimum housing code in Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville. Enforce the Mecklenburg County abandoned and junk vehicle ordinance.
Zoning permits and inspections -
administer and enforce the zoning regulations adopted by Matthews, Mint Hill and PIneville.
